Drone Strike in Occupied Haifa Military Base Kills 3, Injures 24

Occupied Haifa (Quds News Network)- A drone strike on an Israeli military base near Binyamina, south of occupied Haifa, on Sunday resulted in at least 3 deaths and 24 injuries, with at least 9 in critical condition, according to Israeli media. Channel 12 and 13 both confirmed that some of the injured were in life-threatening condition after the drone fell in the area.

The Israeli military’s air defense systems reportedly failed to detect the drone, leading to questions about the effectiveness of Israel’s defense mechanisms. According to Israeli Army Radio, no sirens were activated in the area before the drone strike, which caught the settlers off guard. Israeli media accused Hezbollah of carrying out the strike, however, no official statement has been issued by the resistance party. This incident marks the most severe attack since the beginning of the war, with three casualties reported as “hopeless”.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing a massive explosion at the site of the Israeli military base, which came without any prior warning from sirens. The strike has prompted the Israeli Air Force to launch an investigation into the failure of its alarm systems.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that the drone was launched towards occupied Haifa, shielded by a barrage of rockets fired towards the Galilee region. In response, the Israeli military declared a state of emergency due to the large number of soldiers injured in the drone strike, north of Hadera.
