Dozens of innocent civilians killed, many injured, as Israel’s genocide in Gaza carries on for 82nd day
Gaza (Quds News Network) – As the relentless Israeli genocide campaign in Gaza enters its 82nd consecutive day, dozens of civilians, including children and women, were brutally killed over the last few hours, with many others wounded, in a series of airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on various locations in the Gaza Strip.
In the central region of the Strip, Israeli fighter jets launched intense airstrikes targeting the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps. The shelling pounded residential areas, hitting shelters housing displaced families and causing widespread destruction.
Eyewitnesses reported that several casualties remain stranded on the ground across the streets of the camps, as ambulances and civil defense teams face challenges reaching them due to the intensive, nonstop Israeli bombardments.

The neighboring Nuseirat refugee camp also witnessed shelling from Israeli artillery and warplanes, specifically targeting the Nassar family’s home in the Nusseirat Al-Jadeed neighborhood and another residence belonging to the Hazzouqi family.
The Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip also experienced a barrage of heavy artillery shelling.
These attacks resulted in the tragic loss of lives and left dozens with various injuries, subsequently transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and Al-Awda Hospital.

In southern Gaza, residential areas east of Rafah city, including Fakhari, and the eastern regions of Khan Yunis also experienced Israeli artillery shelling in various locations, local and media sources said.
Israeli airstrikes and artillery also targeted Gaza City, notably the neighborhoods of Shujaiya and Tuffah. Reports indicate the targeting of a house in the Katiba area, with casualties reported.
Further, eyewitnesses reported that over 60 individuals are missing following an Israeli airstrike on a three-story residential building near Al-Azhar University in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.
In the Safatawi area of Gaza City, six casualties were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex due to sniper attacks carried out by Israeli forces who occupied some buildings in the western areas of the city, targeting anyone moving in the area.
The Jabalia refugee camp and northern areas of the Gaza strip, especially the towns of Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun, are also facing intense shelling from Israeli artillery and aircraft. Lack of information is reported due to the disruption of communications and the internet in many areas of the region.

This marks the seventh time that Israeli occupation forces have cut off communications and the internet in Gaza since the beginning of the aggression on October 7. International phone lines have been severed during these incidents.
Ooredoo, one of the two main mobile companies operating in Palestine, has announced the suspension of its services in central and southern Gaza, with partial continuity in the northern region.
The interruption of communications and the internet is accompanied by an escalation in the massacres committed by Israeli forces against the innocent civilians of Gaza. This disruption hampers rescue efforts and medical assistance, contributing to a rising toll of casualties.
Since the onset of the aggression, the number of casualties has exceeded 20,800, with approximately 52,600 wounded and thousands still missing, in an ongoing and tragically incomplete tally.
