Dozens of injuries in Israeli repression of West Bank protests in solidarity with Gaza

West Bank (QNN)- Dozens of Palestinians were wounded during confrontations that were erupted in Bethlehem and Hebron following Israeli repression of marches in solidarity with Gaza.

Several marches were organized at the northern entrance to Bethlehem and the Arroub refugee camp in Hebron to protest against the Israeli ongoing aggression on the Gaza strip.

Israeli forces attacked the protesters and repressed the marches using rubber-coated metal bullets and stun and tear gas grenades against the defenseless protesters, who defended themselves throwing back empty bottles and stones.

The Palestinian Red Crescent told QNN that its teams in Bethlehem and Hebron have dealt with several cases, in which protesters were suffocated by poisonous tear gas.

The Palestinian Civil Defense in Bethlehem evacuated 30 Palestinians, including women and infants, from a 4-story building, which was deliberately targeted by Israeli soldiers with poisonous tear gas.

In Al Arroub refugee camp, local sources stated that a young man was shot in the leg during confrontations erupted at the campus of the Palestine Technical University – Kadoorie.
