Dozens of injuries in Israeli repression of West Bank peaceful protests

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Dozens of Palestinians have been injured on Friday during the Israeli repression of peaceful protests throughout the West Bank using live and rubber-coated rounds, as well as, sound and tear gas bombs.

In the village of Asira al-Qibliya in southern Nablus, several Palestinians were injured when Israeli forces and settlers attacked locals, who were plowing fields that settlers threaten to grab.

Journalists, who were covering the event, have been targeted as well.

Local sources said three journalists ( Naaser Ishtayyeh, Alaa Badarneh, Adel Abu Ne’meh) were injured.

Meanwhile, Seven locals were wounded with rubber-coated rounds, while dozens of Palestinians were suffocated with tear gas during the Israeli repression of Kafr Qaddum’s weekly protest.

The Coordinator of the Popular Resistance in Kafr Qaddum Murad Ishtwei said Israeli forces attacked the protesters using rubber-coated metal bullets and tear and sound bombs, causing seven injuries and dozens of suffocation cases.

In Hebron, several Palestinians were suffocated after Israeli soldiers threw tear gas to disperse a peaceful protest in central Hebron. QNN correspondent stated that three Israeli soldiers were wounded with stones during confrontations that were erupted following the repression of the protest.
