Dozens of Israeli settlers storm al-Aqsa, receive explanations on alleged “temple mount”

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Dozens of heavily guarded extremist Israeli settlers on Sunday broke into the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque Compound via the Maghariba gate.

Islamic Waqf department in occupied Jerusalem said that over a hundred Israeli settlers stormed the al-Aqsa Mosque Compound in the early morning hours and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.

It pointed out that the settlers received explanations from rabbis on the alleged “temple mount” and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The department indicated that at least seven intelligence officers and antiquities staff accompanied the heavily guarded settlers while storming the al-Aqsa Mosque.

It added that Palestinian worshipers who were present at the mosque during the settlers’ storming defended it with chants and Takbeer (saying Allah is Greatest).

At the dawn hours, the Israeli occupation police prevented dozens of Palestinian youths and women from entering the mosque for performing prayers, in an attempt to make room for the Israeli settlers’ stormings.

The al-Aqsa Mosque compound exposes on a daily basis to the storming of the Israeli settlers, at which the settlers perform Talmudic rituals and discrete the sanctuary of the mosque.

‘Israel’ seeks through its storming to the al-Aqsa to devout the temporal and spatial division of the mosque and to Judaize the occupied Palestinian city of Jerusalem.
