Dozens of civilians murdered by Israel as the genocide campaign in Gaza enters day 80

Gaza (Quds News) – On the 80th day of the ongoing Israeli genocide campaign in Gaza, Israeli forces persist in their indiscriminate airstrikes and shelling, resulting in the tragic loss of dozens of innocent lives, predominantly among children and women, according to local and medical sources.
The sources report renewed Israeli airstrikes in various regions of central and southern Gaza following a bloody night in the besieged territory. The attacks centered on the Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps, claiming around 95 civilian lives. Israeli warplanes and artillery targeted entire residential blocks in Maghazi refugee camp, resulting in scores of casualties.

Numerous people were left trapped under rubble in the aftermath of the attacks, with some of them wounded and other dead. The exact figures are yet to appear due to the difficulties facing civil defense teams in recovering trapped people from under the debris.
The courtyard of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, is now overflowing with the bodies of martyrs. The hospital’s medical director, Dr. Khalil Dqaran, stated that the hospital is grappling with a shortage of medical supplies and equipment.

Intensive care units are at full capacity, ventilators are insufficient, and the medical staff urgently requires medicines and field hospitals, he said.
Dr. Dqaran further highlighted the spread of infectious diseases among displaced individuals seeking refuge in the hospital, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis due to the lack of medication and beds.

Simultaneously, Israeli artillery targeted agricultural land near the entrance of the town of Zawaida in central Gaza, as well as the vicinity of Abu Helou Schools in Bureij, accompanied by the release of smoke bombs over the area by Israeli helicopters, according to witnesses.
Residents confirmed artillery shelling on the town of Jabalia, northern Gaza, resulting in multiple fires in various locations.
Israeli warplanes also carried out a series of airstrikes on Khan Yunis province in southern Gaza, particularly in the eastern region.
Earlier today, 23 civilians were killed and dozens were wounded after Israeli warplanes targeted two houses in the Maan area east of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that over 8,000 persons are unaccounted for under the rubble across the Strip.
