“Dirty game once again played in Israel,” Turkish Foreign Minister says

Ankara (QNN) -The Turkish Foreign Ministry has lashed the Israeli occupation government over statements by the latter’s Foreign Minister describing Turkey’s activities in occupied Jerusalem as “provocative.”
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Turkish Foreign Minister, said that the Israeli government has, once again, begun with its “dirty games” before the elections.
In a tweet, Çavuşoğlu confirmed that Turkey will continue to support the Palestinians in Jerusalem. “Will never give up supporting our Palestinian brothers and sisters in East Jerusalem, capital of Palestine under occupation and defending the Palestinian cause,” he wrote.
A dirty game is once again being played in #Israel at election time. Will never give up supporting our Palestinian brothers&sisters in East Jerusalem, capital of #Palestine under occupation and defending the Palestinian cause.

Çavuşoğlu’s statement comes as a reply to the Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz who asked his ministry earlier to formulate a package of measures to “stop Turkey’s incitement and subversion in East Jerusalem.”
Ankara is a vocal critic of Israel’s occupation of Palestine. The Turkish government has funded a large number of infrastructure projects in East Jerusalem, while other projects are funded by Turkish non-governmental organisations.
