Occupied Palestine (QNN)- 150,000 Palestinian worshipers performed Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem on the third Friday of Ramadan.
Jerusalem’s Islamic Waqf said that despite the Israeli restrictions and the forces’ repeated raids and attacks of the holy site, about 150,000 worshipers succeeded in visiting Al-Aqsa mosque and performing the Friday prayer on Ramadan’s third Friday.
After the prayer, the worshipers gathered at the courtyards of the mosque and chanted slogans pledging to protect Al-Aqsa mosque and the holy city from the Israeli violations.

Earlier today, Israeli forces raided the Al-Aqsa and fired stun grenades, tear gas canisters and rubber-coated metal bullets at the Palestinian worshipers following the Fajr prayer, the second Fajr prayer in which Palestinians were attacked and Al-Aqsa was raided by the Israeli forces.
Today’ raid was the eighth raid to be carried out by the Israeli forces and settlers against the holy site since last Friday.
Israel imported 240 Indians as part of a new plan to expand settlements in northern Palestine, with officials aiming to bring thousands more in the coming years.
Nine Palestinians were killed and others wounded after Israeli air and artillery strikes hit civilian homes, a police vehicle, and a patrol in Gaza. The attacks spread across northern and southern areas, raising further concern over continued violations despite the ceasefire.
Families of Syrian and Palestinian victims gathered in Damascus, especially in Yarmouk Camp and Tadamon, to mark the arrest of Amjad Youssef, a key perpetrator of the 2013 horrifying massacre, in which Assad regime forces executed more than 280 civilians, including women and children.
