Church of the Holy Sepulchre closed again amid coronavirus resurgence
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- The Church of the Holy Sepulchre was closed again to worshipers on Friday due to increasing coronavirus cases in the city.
Adeeb Joudeh, the holder of the keys of the holy Church, said the church was closed on Friday after limiting worshipers to 19 only in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The church had been closed for two months during the first wave of the pandemic last March but was reopened in late May.
However, a new wave of mass infections has recently started inside the green line among Israelis before affecting the West Bank and Jerusalem, leading to new closures and restrictive measures throughout the occupied Palestinian land.
