Celebrating Hanukkah.. hundreds of fanatics storm Al Aqsa mosque

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Hundreds of Israeli Jewish fanatics on Tuesday stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa mosque under Israeli police protection to celebrate the second day of Hanukkah.

QNN reporter said that the Israeli police allowed hundreds of Israeli extremist settlers to storm the holy mosque from the Magharbeh gate on the second day of Hanukkah amid high security.

Israeli right-wing groups had called for mass raids into the holy mosque to celebrate the Jewish holiday. Meanwhile, some Muslim worshipers were prevented from entry as the Israelis imposed strict measures to reduce their presence as much as possible.

The Israeli police closed the Magharbeh gate after 211 settlers, including the right-wing leader Yehudah Glick, stormed the holy mosque. However, the raids were resumed at noon.
