CBS Investigation Reveals Biden’s Complicity in Gaza Genocide and Silencing Critics of His Pro-Israel Policy

Washington (Quds News Network)- A CBS 60 Minutes investigation has revealed details about internal dissent within the US government over President Joe Biden’s support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza. The episode aired Sunday and highlighted an unprecedented wave of resignations from the State Department, White House, and US Army.
Since the genocide began, 13 senior officials have resigned in protest, citing concerns about US policies undermining national values and security. Former State Department official Hala Rharrit, a key voice in the report, criticized the administration for enabling Israel’s military actions.
Rharrit, who served for 20 years, said her reports documenting the human toll in Gaza were suppressed. “I was told not to include images of starving children because they didn’t want to see it,” she explained. Her decision to resign came after the administration dismissed her warnings.
Andrew Miller, the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Israeli-Palestinian Affairs, also resigned, describing US support as “unconditional.” He criticized the use of American-made weapons in densely populated areas, leading to massive civilian casualties.
The US has sent $18 billion in American military assistance to Israel since the genocide began, largely in the form of taxpayer-funded weapons.
Josh Paul, another senior official, resigned 10 days after the genocide began. He revealed that US weapons were being sent to Israel under direct orders from the White House. “Every bomb dropped in Gaza comes from an American-made plane,” Paul said.
The report linked US military support to rising anti-American sentiment globally.
Intelligence officials have warned of increased threats tied to the Gaza genocide. FBI Director Christopher Wray recently told Congress that the Gaza genocide has heightened risks of domestic attacks.
While the White House declined to comment on the investigation, officials defended their policies, claiming they aim to prevent a broader war in the Middle East.
