Brutal Israeli repression of detainees in Nafha revealed

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Detainees Information Bureau revealed that detainees in section 12 of Nafha prison were subjected to a brutal attack by the Israeli Prison Service’s repression units last week.

The head of the bureau, Nahed Fakhouri, said: “the features of the crime against the detainees started to be revealed amid tension, which has been prevailing across Israeli prisons until now.”

He added that “the IPS deliberately attacked detainees away from security cameras to prevent leaking footage of their crime.”

He said in a press release today that several injuries were reported among detainees, including skill, nose, and ribs fractures. No medical treatment has been provided for any of the injuries so far.

According to Fakhouri, injured detainees include Khalid Abu Joudeh (wounded in his right eye), Ziyad Awwad (wounded by canine dogs in his face), Ihab Saad (with a nose fracture), Jihad Jarrar (with a rib fracture), Fadi Abu Sabeh (with a nose fracture
and needs a surgery in his leg), and Obaida Al Barghouthi (with a knee fracture).
