British MP Claudia Webbe: End arms sales to ‘Israel’
London (QNN)- British Member of Parliament for Leicester East, Claudia Webbe, has called for ending arms sales to ‘Israel’ on Saturday, following a series of human rights violations committed by Israeli occupation against Palestinian people.
The British MP tweeted on Saturday, “End arms sales to Israel.”

Hours before, Webbe took to twitter to condemn Israel’s killing of Al Jazeera’s veteran reporter Shereen Abu Aqleh while she was covering an Israeli military raid into the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, earlier on Wednesday.
Despite wearing a helmet and a vest that clearly identified her as a journalist, Abu Aqleh was shot in the face by a single bullet fired by Israeli forces during that raid.
One of the most well known journalist of the Arab world, Shireen Abu Akleh was shot dead whilst reporting on an Israeli army raid on Jenin in occupied West Bank. There were first hand witness accounts.

On Friday, the Israeli occupation forces also brutally beat and assaulted a crowd of mourners carrying the casket of Abu Aqleh ahead of her funeral in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, an action strongly slammed by the British MP.
“I unreservedly condemn the Israeli police and Israeli army for their murder of a journalist and for beating those who carried her coffin. The whole world is watching you. We see you,” Webbe said in a tweet on Friday.
