Breaking| Israeli forces kill Palestinian man in Beita

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces on Friday have shot dead a Palestinian man in Beita village in Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said that 37-year-old Emad Dweikat, a father of five, was critically injuried as he was rushed to the hospital to get urgent medical treatment after being shot in the chest by Israeli forces with live ammunition. But he was later announced dead.

Earlier today, the Israeli forces attacked Palestinian protesters by firing rubber-coated metal bullets, teargas canisters, and live ammunition in the village, resulting in injuring 37.

Among the injuries were a child and a journalist covering the forces’ attacks, as both got injured with the forces’ bullets in their legs.

Last week, On June 27, the forces also killed a 41-year-old Palestinian man, who is a municipal water technician, in the village of Beita, when he went to open the main supplying water to the village.

Beita village becomes a site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement expansion, which are often suppressed brutally by Israeli forces.
