BREAKING| Palestinian youth assassinated by Israeli sniper in Jenin raid
Jenin (QNN)- An Israeli occupation sniper shot and killed a Palestinian youth during a military raid into the Jenin refugee camp, north of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday morning.
The slain Palestinian has been identified as Ahmad Nazmi Alawneh as he was shot dead in the head by an Israeli sniper during the ongoing Israeli raid on the Jenin refugee camp, according to medical sources.
Local sources reported that Israeli special forces encircled a house, in which two Palestinians were inside, in the Jenin refugee camp. During the military operation, the soldiers shot at two people inside the house and fired an anti-tank missile towards the house, causing a fire.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, nine Palestinians were shot by Israeli occupation forces during the furious miltary operation, two of them are hospitalized in critical condition.
Israeli media said the target of the operation was Abed Hazem, the brother of Ra’ed Hazem who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces for allegedly killing three Israeli settlers in a shooting operation in occupied Tel Aviv on April 7. Ra’ed‘s father and Abed are both wanted by the Israeli occupation.
