Breaking| Israeli police hopes mass settlers’ raid to proceed as planned

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli Police Commissioner told ‘Walla’ he hopes tomorrow’s settlers mass raid throughout occupied Jerusalem will go ahead as planned, and is doing everything he can to ensure this.

A further situation assessment is to be held early tomorrow morning, however, he added.

The raid, which is organized annually to celebrate the occupation of the eastern part of Jerusalem, usually marches into the Old City and the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood via Bab Al Amoud Gate and on through the Muslim Quarter to the Buraq Wall of Al Aqsa mosque.

The occupied Palestinian capital city has been seeing tension, which increased during the last three days, especially with the Israeli plans to evacuate native Palestinians from the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood to replace them with settlers.

Israeli forces have been attacking worshipers at Al Aqsa mosque as well as residents in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood on a daily basis, causing nearly 300 injuries.
