BREAKING| Israeli Nahshon forces brutally attack Palestinian female prisoner

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli special forces of Nahshon brutally attacked a Palestinian female prisoner while she was being transferred by the Bosta, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) said in a statement on Thursday.

According to confirmed details, the PPS said, one of the Palestinian detainees reported that the Nahshon unit brutally assaulted the Palestinian female prisoner, who has not been identified yet, while she she was being transferred by the Bosta, and following their attack, he confronted the special forces.

The Bosta is an Israeli prison transfer vehicle in which the Palestinian prisoners are cuffed all the way to and back from a court or clinic while sitting on metal chairs.

Some of the prisoners described the blacked-out windows vehicle as a “grave” while others said that it is in fact “a mobile cell with a metal chair that can barely accommodate one person in a sitting position”.

The PPS has condemned the brutal attack, saying such attack indicates clearly the daily suffering which Palestinian female prisoners in Israeli jails are subjected to.

The PPS added that Palestinian prisoners in Israel’s Rimon prison and other prisons have decided to close the sections in protest against the attack of the female prisoner, saying further steps will be taken.

It’s worth noting that Nahshon forces are ‘special forces’, that have their own distinct uniform, and include well trained, experienced soldiers.

The unit’s main tasks include moving prisoners, from one prison to another, or from court to prison, as well as moving sick prisoners and keeping the prisons under control.

The unit is specifically used to break the will of prisoners.

The special unit raids sections of prisons, use excessive force through throwing tear gas bombs inside the closed rooms and also shooting rubber bullets. The special unit also comes with a large number of Israeli soldiers with their dogs, they search the rooms, damage and confiscate some of its belongings.
Sometimes, injuries were reported among the prisoners after these brutal raids.

There are 4550 Palestinians held in Israeli occupation jails, including 32 women, 170 minors, and 500 administrative detainees held without charge or trial.
