‘Blinded by Loyalty to Netanyahu’: Former Obama Officials Slam Biden’s Gaza Policy During Israel’s Assault

Washington (Quds News Network)- Former senior officials from the Obama administration criticized President Joe Biden’s Gaza policies during Israel’s assault, speaking on a foreign policy podcast Thursday, where a former deputy national security advisor stated, “Israel doesn’t want to end the war.”
Ben Rhodes and Tommy Vietor, both former senior Obama administration officials, co-host the foreign policy podcast, Pod Save the World.
In a video from the podcast, Rhodes, who served as deputy national security advisor, says: “Israel doesn’t want to end the war … if they were willing to end the war, they would get the hostages out.”
“The idea that they need to continue to fight the war against Hamas in Gaza – I’m sorry, there’s no security need to do it. You’re just talking about an already traumatised people, including a lot of injured people, who are being bombed in tents with no food and medicine.”

Vietor, former national security council spokesperson, then says, “What a total fucking disgrace the Biden administration’s policy on Gaza was… Loyalty to Netanyahu blinded him to the carnage, the total immorality of the policy, and US complicity in that policy.”
Their remarks have sparked reactions on social media, with many people saying that these former US administration officials have always “sided with the Zionists” but are now speaking up and speak only when it is “too late”.
Only when they become "former," they speak out.

Weird that they never said anything like this during the Biden administration.

Liberals only feel comfortable condemning war and slaughter once they're made sure it's too late to change any policy or to save anyone

I didn’t hear any similar objections when Biden was in office, funding the same conflict. Nice to see they care now. smh
