Bennett’s cabinet pledges to approve new settlements every three months
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli new cabinet pledged to approve new settlement projects in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Jordan Valley every three months, reported ‘Israel Hayom’.
According to the Israeli newspaper, the agreement has been reached between leaders of illegal settlements and the previous Israeli cabinet, led by Benjamin Netanyahu.
It added that the Israeli Minister of Interior, who belongs to the far right, Ayelet Shaked, reiterated during recent talks with settlements’ leaders, that there is an agreement with the minister of war Benny Gantz to maintain the agreement.
The newspaper also cited David Elhayani, chairman of a settlement council, as saying that Shaked confirmed that the ‘Yamina’ party agreed with Gantz to hold a committee that would approve me settlement projects every three months.
