Bennett claims Palestinian state means terror state, addressing Merkel

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett, claimed that a Palestinian state would mean a terror state, during a joint press conference with the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, today.

“We’ve learnt from our experience that a Palestinian state would highly likely mean a terror state a seven-minute (drive) from my own home, and from just about any place in Israel’, Bennett told Merkel.

Bennett added that the occupation state is not “ignoring the Palestinians”, they “are our neighbours, they’re not going anywhere.”

Bennett’s remarks came in response to a statement by Merkel, who had said during the same conference: “I believe that Israel’s neighbours should be taken care of.”

During her visit to the occupation state, Merkel refrained from criticising the occupation state’s behaviour towards the Palestinian people, ignoring reports by human rights organizations stressing that ‘Israel’ is an apartheid state.

Merkel’s visit also comes a few days after an Israeli court ruled to allow Jewish fanatics to perform ‘silent prayers’ inside Al Aqsa mosque, Islam’s third holiest place. It also comes while Israeli settlements continue to swallow more Palestinian lands in the West Bank and Jerusalem, threatening thousands of forced displacement.
