Ben & Jerry’s slams zionist smear campaign following announcement of boycotting Israeli settlements

Vermont (QNN)- Ben & Jerry’s slammed the smear campaign, which followed the company’s decision to boycott Israeli settlements in the West Bank, and reiterated its decision.
On its Twitter account, Ben & Jerry’s said its partners and Board members received hateful and violent threats.
The company, however, reiterated its decision, stressing that it will continue to be committed to human rights and justice despite the zionist attacks and incitement campaign.
“Ben & Jerry’s condemns the hateful and violent threats that have been directed at our company, our business partners, our Board, and particularly our Board Chair. We stand together—Ben & Jerry’s and our Board—in denouncing hate, intimidation, and threats of violence in any form”, Ben & Jerry’s tweeted.
“We will continue to be guided by our values and commitment to human rights and justice.”

Ben & Jerry’s, the Vermont-based company owned by two Jewish Americans, has announced last month that it will stop selling its products to Israeli settlements in the West Bank because that goes against its values.
The occupation state announced launching a maximum pressure campaign against the company, through Israeli leaders making statements criminalizing the company and putting pressure on US states to fight the company’s decision in courts.
The occupation state also sent letters to its diplomatic missions in North America and Europe ordering them to start a pressure campaign against Ben & Jerry’s. The campaign included a smear and incitement campaign by the zionist lobby, in which death and violent threats were directed to the company’s Board members.
Ben & Jerry’s board chair, Anuradha Mittal, had said that she has been getting violent threats and racist and misogynistic comments.
