Ben Gvir Shares Video of Palestinian Prisoners Humiliated and Forced to Erase “Jerusalem is Arab”

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Resigned Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has released a video showing Israeli prison guards storming Palestinian detainees’ cells in the Negev prison. The footage reveals guards forcing detainees to kneel at gunpoint and paint over slogans on the walls.
Ben Gvir posted on X, stating that security sections of Negev Prison contained writings such as “We will not forget, we will not forgive, we will not kneel, Jerusalem is Arab.” Following orders from prison commander, guards broke into the cells, humiliated detainees compelling them to kneel, and forced them to erase the messages.
Palestinian detainees had written these phrases before their release under the prisoner swap deal between the resistance and Israel.
Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth noted that the inscriptions were a response to messages printed on clothing that detainees released in the sixth exchange were forced to wear.
Israel’s public broadcaster had previously published images of Palestinian detainees in white shirts bearing the Star of David and the Israeli Prison Service logo, along with the phrase “We do not forget, we do not forgive” on both sides.
Israeli prison authorities took degrading photos of Palestinian detainees wearing these shirts, forcing them to kneel with heads bowed. Additional footage showed prisoners lined up in courtyards, surrounded by barbed wire.
Upon their release, Palestinian detainees burned the clothing. The images sparked widespread Palestinian outrage, especially when compared to how Palestinian resistance groups treat Israeli prisoners upon release.
