Bella Hadid to sue Adidas over racist decision

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Palestinian-American supermodel Bella Hadid has hired a legal team to file a lawsuit against Adidas for “their lack of public accountability” after the brand decided to drop her from an advertisement because of her Palestinian roots.

According to TMZ, Bella stated that Adidas led a cruel and damaging campaign against her. She expressed her frustration with the company for releasing a campaign that could link anyone to the Munich attack during the 1972 Olympics.

Adidas had removed Hadid from an advertising campaign after Israel conducted a smear campaign. The sportswear giant later apologized for the “upset and distress” caused by choosing the Palestinian-American model as the face of the SL72 trainers, which are described as a timeless classic.

The SL72 trainers were initially designed for the 1972 Olympic games in Munich, during which 11 Israeli athletes and a German policeman were killed in an operation by a Palestinian militant group.
