Backlash after Adidas advert removed Bella Hadid due to Israeli smear campaign

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Social media users criticized the racist decision by Adidas to drop Palestinian-American supermodel Bella Hadid from an advertising campaign after Israel carried out a smear campaign.
The German-based sportswear company said it was “revising” its campaign after a smear campaign from Israel over Hadid’s involvement.
The sportswear company apologized for the “upset and distress” it caused for choosing the Palestinian-American model as the face of the SL72 trainers, described as a timeless classic.
The SL72 trainers were first designed for the 1972 Olympic games in Munich during which 11 Israeli athletes and a German policeman were killed in an operation by a Palestinian militant group.
Israel had launched a smear campaign following the launch of the trainers, connecting it to the deaths of Israelis during the games.
Social media users criticized the decision by Adidas and called it racist.
Yesterday, when I saw it, I was going to tweet 'Adidas is going to backtrack', but I was busy and I forgot to tweet it.
They cannot allow any crack in the wall of apartheid of supremacy. This is their greatest weakness https://t.co/gLzqC4Z6x0

Yup, the same day the world's highest court finds Israel to be an apartheid state, Adidas drops US-Palestinian model Bella Hadid from its ad campaign because the racist state of Israel objects to her. pic.twitter.com/N6TB0v1r1G
