Austrian police attacks Palestinian family, putting infant in shock
The interrogators asked the father if his 8-month-old infant would be able to eat all kinds of meat in Austria when she grows up and if he will choose her husband or he will leave her to do that herself.
Vienna (QNN)- A Palestinian man located in Austra said police attacked his family without any reason or charge, reading severe harm on his wife and infant.
The Palestinian citizen “K.A” told the Anadolu Agency that a police special force stored his house on November 9.
“We were awoken in the morning by a fuss”, he said. “In s few seconds, dozens of rifles were pointed at us. It was a special forces unit of 15 to 20 cops.”
“They were shouting: hands up! My 8-month-old baby was crying all the time”, he added.
“They left the door open. My wife and baby were very scared and crying. They said they will take me for interrogation.”
He said that the interrogators asked him questions like “do you pray? does your wife wear a hijab?”. They also asked if his 8-month-old infant would be able to eat all kinds of meat in Austria when she grows up and if he will choose her husband or he will leave her to do that herself.
The young father had shared on his Facebook account a photo of the Turkish flag and President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, so, they asked him if he meets or calls him.
The interrogators also asked him about Egypt, although he is Palestinian. They asked him about Yassir Arafat, Sheikh Yusouf Qaradawi, as well as group that he “has never heard about before”.
The interrogation continued for 18 hours. He said that the interrogators pushed him to lie and say that some people belong to specific groups.
Moreover, they used his wife and daughter to pressure him. They said that he should admit charges that he did not commit in order to go back to his family. “If you do not tell us the truth, we will not allow you to go back to your family’, they said.
The wife told AA that the unit stayed at their house even after taking her husband. They forced her to stay still for a long time. She was even going to the bathroom with their weapons pointed at her.
After the attack, the Austrian police got him fired from his job. He used to work for a well-known firm in the country but the Austrian police sent a letter to his work reading that “this person cannot work in this place anymore”, which forced his employer to fire him.
The Austrian police froze his assets. Although they told him that he can draw down a sufficient amount of money, he found out that the bank prevented him from doing so.
The barbaric attack on the family put the 8-month-old infant in shock, according to the father. “She cannot breastfeed although she is still eight months old”, he said.
