As election approaches.. Netanyahu threatens to wage a war on Gaza

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the occupation state threatened to head to a military operation in the Gaza Strip before elections take place, Channel 13 reported on Friday morning, upon returning from a visit to Russia, saying that such an act “could happen at any moment.”

The statement came just one day after Netanyahu said that “it looks like there will be no other choice but to embark on a wide-scale campaign in Gaza.” The prime minister spoke with Reshet Bet shortly before flying out to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.

thee besieged enclave has recently witnissed Israeli escalation, which pushed the Palestinian resistance to retaliate firing missiles at surrounding settlements.

Few daya ago, missiles were sent from Gaza at occupied Asdood and Asqalan cities, where Netanyahu was making a campaign speech, forcing him to flee to a shelter.

Netanyahu has been desperately trying to impress hard-line Israelis promising to annex parts of the occupied West Bank and inciting Palestinians, who live at the occupied lands.
