Arrests and injuries in Israeli repression of Sheikh Jarrah protests
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces wounded ten civilians and arrested others today during its repression of peaceful protests in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Local sources said Israeli forces broke into the house of the Kurd family, which is threatened of forced eviction. They attacked its owners and threw tear gas canisters inside.
Israeli forces also used skunk water to disperse the peaceful protesters. Meanwhile, Israeli illegal settlers chanted slogans inciting violence against native Palestinians and calling for evicting them from their houses.
Dozens of Jerusalemites have gathered in the neighborhood in solidarity with its locals, who are facing an Israeli order to forcefully and unlawfully evict them to replace them with zionist settlers.
