Around 35 Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attacks Across Gaza in Past 24 Hours, Says Health Ministry

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israel’s bombardment of Gaza has killed 35 Palestinians and wounded 109 others in the past 24 hours, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, as the relentless assault on the besieged enclave continues.
“There are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the streets, and ambulance and Civil Defence crews cannot reach them,” it said on Saturday.
Since resuming the assault, Israeli attacks have killed 2,208 people and left 5,973 injured. The overall death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza has now surged to 52,400 with 118,014 wounded since 7 October 2023, the Ministry added.
The death toll is expected to rise as many remain trapped under the rubble. The majority of the victims are women and children.
Gaza’s Government Media Office stated on Saturday that the Israeli occupation has killed an average of 90 people per day since the start of the genocide, including approximately 32 children each day.
On March 18, Israel renewed its assault on the Gaza Strip and launched a new ground invasion across the enclave, marking the collapse of a ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal that had been in place since January 19, 2025. The first phase ended on March 1, 2025, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to proceed with the second phase.
Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, sought to free more Israeli prisoners without fulfilling Israel’s commitments, including ending the war and withdrawing from Gaza. Hamas insisted on implementing the full agreement.
