(QNN) – Egypt’s President Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi is the best thing that has been happening to “Israel”, according to the Israeli “Channel 7.”
In a special episode about Egypt’s latest constitutional changes’ referendum that could keep President al-Sisi in office until 2030, Oded Granot, an Israeli analyst of Arab affairs, said that the results of the referendum is the best thing that has happened to “Israel.”
The National Elections Authority announced on Tuesday that Egyptians had voted to pass a number of major changes to the country’s constitution in a three-day referendum, with 88.83% voting in favor of tightening its strongman leader’s grip on power.
Since al-Sisi took over the Egyptian presidency, the relationship between the Israeli occupation and Egypt has reached the highest rates ever since the Arab Spring.
