Al-Qassam releases footage of two deceased Israeli prisoners

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas released a video showing footage of two deceased Israeli prisoners, Alexander Lobanov and Carmel Gat. This move follows the release of a pre-recorded video on Tuesday featuring captive Ori Danino, whose body was recovered by the Israeli army on Saturday along with the remains of five other captives in southern Gaza.
On Monday, Al-Qassam also released a message from captive Edan Yerushalmi, who pleaded with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government to take all necessary measures to secure her release through a prisoner exchange deal. However, she was killed shortly afterward in an Israeli airstrike.
Last Sunday, the Israeli army announced the recovery of six Israeli prisoners’ bodies from a tunnel in Rafah, in southern Gaza, accusing Hamas of their deaths. In contrast, Hamas stated that the prisoners were killed by direct Israeli airstrikes.
On Monday evening, Al-Qassam held Netanyahu and the Israeli military responsible for the deaths of the prisoners in Gaza, accusing them of deliberately stalling any potential prisoner exchange deals.
In a video message released by Hamas on Wednesday, the movement sent a stark warning to Israelis, stating that Netanyahu’s continued leadership poses a direct threat to the lives of Israeli prisoners held in Gaza.
In the newly released video, Alexander Lobanov harshly criticized the Israeli government, accusing them of neglect. “You failed and neglected us on October 7th, and now you continue to fail in every attempt to release us alive… you are just trying to kill us for not making a deal,” Lobanov said.
“They (resistance fighters) transferred me ten times to save my life” ,he added, stressing that the resistance was saving his life while the Israeli army was bombarding everything in Gaza.
Carmel Gat, also featured in the video, expressed deep fear for her life. “The attacks do not stop, and I do not know whether I will get out of here alive or not because of the attacks,” she said.
