Al-Qassam Brigades says it detonated minefield into invading Israeli troops in Gaza
Gaza (Quds News Network) – The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced this evening the detonation of a minefield into an Israeli military forces and showcased footage documenting the seizure of an Israeli drone during an intelligence mission in Gaza.
According to a statements released on Friday, the Qassam Brigades engaged in fierce clashes with the invading Israeli troops in the areas of Al-Shefa and Jabal Al-Rais, east of Gaza City. The Brigades successfully detonated an anti-personnel mine in an Israeli infantry force and targeted another force taking cover in a building with a TBG shell, resulting in a significant number of casualties and injuries among Israeli soldiers and officers.
Al-Qassam Brigades further reported successfully targeting 20 Israeli military vehicles that infiltrated the neighborhoods of Al-Daraj and Al-Tuffah in Gaza City during the past 48 hours. This brings the total number of targeted vehicles in these neighborhoods alone to 72 since the beginning of the Israeli ground offensive.
Additionally, the Qassam Brigades showcased footage of an Israeli Skylark-2 drone that was seized during an intelligence mission north of Tel Al-Zaatar, north of the Gaza Strip.
Yesterday, the military spokesperson for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, stated that they targeted three Israeli helicopters in Gaza. The Qassam Brigades reported shelling a gathering of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers east of Khan Yunis with mortar shells.
The Brigades confirmed the destruction of two Israeli Merkava tanks with Yassin 105 shells in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, and the safe return of the fighters.
Simultaneously, Al-Qassam targeted a special Israeli force sheltered in a building north of the Bureij refugee camp with anti-fortification shells, engaging them at point-blank range and causing casualties.
They reported targeting an Israeli D9 bulldozer with a Yassin 105 shell north of the Bureij camp, causing direct damage.
Additionally, they detonated a minefield consisting of four barrel mines and an anti-personnel mine in an Israeli infantry force and several military vehicles north of the Bureij camp, resulting in casualties among Israeli soldiers.
