Al Akhras suspends hunger strike after agreement to release him

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The administrative detainee Maher Al Akhras announced the suspension of his 103-day long hunger strike after an agreement to release him on the 26th of November, reported WAFA.
Wafa quoted the Prisoners’ Association, which stated on Friday that the agreement states that the Israelis will release Al Akhras on November 26th without renewing his administrative detention and that he will continue his sentence at hospital.
Al Akhras thanked all prisoners, who stood and backed him throughout his hunger strike and thanked the Palestinian people for their support.
Al Akhras, a father of six children, was arrested unlawfully under administrative detention without charges or trials, which pushed him to start a hunger strike.
