AIPAC lobbyist offered $20M to recruit Senate hopeful Hill Harper against Tlaib

United States (QNN)- Famous actor and Senate hopeful Hill Harper posted Wednesday on “X” stating that an AIPAC lobbyist offered him $20 million to run against American-Palestinian congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
Harper posted that “one f AIPAC’s biggest donors offered $20m if I dropped out of the U.S. Senate race to run against Rashida Tlaib.
I said no. I won’t be bossed, bullied, or bought.”
I didn’t intend for a private phone call to turn public. But now that it has, here’s the truth.

Harper added that “telling the truth here will put a target on my back. But if we ALL come together, we can win.”
The Politico identified that AIPAC lobbyist as the Michigan businessman Linden Nelson. The offer that Nelson made on Oct. 16, would have split the campaign money between $10 million in bundled contributions directly to Harper’s campaign and $10 million in independent expenditures.
Nelson donated previously to candidates in both parties. He has a history of ties to the powerful pro-Israel lobbying group, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and has contributed to previous failed campaigns to oust Tlaib from Congress.
Tlaib is an outspoken critic of Israel and has long faced challenges from AIPAC. She also accused President Joe Biden, the leader of her Democratic Party, of supporting the “genocide of the Palestinian people” by providing unconditional military support to Israel.
Meanwhile, Harper called for a “humanitarian ceasefire” in Gaza, largely echoing the ceasefire support from a few dozen congressional Democratic progressives.
