Abu Ubaida: Israeli Prisoner Killed in Israeli Assault on Northern Gaza, Another in Critical Danger

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the death of an Israeli female prisoner in northern Gaza, an area heavily targeted and subjected to ethnic cleansing by Israel.

Abu Ubaida, Al-Qassam’s spokesperson, confirmed the news after communication was restored with resistance fighters responsible for guarding the prisoners. He also warned that another female prisoner remains in critical danger due to ongoing aggression.

In a statement, Abu Ubaida placed full responsibility for the Israeli prisoners’ safety on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his government, and military leaders.

“War criminal Netanyahu and his government are fully accountable for the suffering and deaths of their prisoners,” he said, stressing that Israel is deliberately exacerbating their plight through relentless attacks.

Recent Israeli investigations revealed that a team in Netanyahu’s office actively worked to block any potential prisoner exchange deals with Hamas.

This scandal has intensified criticism of Netanyahu’s handling of the prisoners crisis, with many holding him personally accountable for prolonging their suffering and endangering their lives.

Abu Ubaida also cautioned that the remains of Israeli prisoners killed in Gaza could disappear due to the widespread destruction caused by Israeli bombardments and the deaths of some resistance fighters guarding the prisoners.

“The enemy must prepare to face the challenge of its prisoners’ remains disappearing amidst the devastation,” he added.

The Al-Qassam Brigades have repeatedly warned Israel about the grave risks to the lives of Israeli prisoners due to continuous airstrikes across Gaza. The movement has also condemned Israel’s blockade and starvation campaign, describing it as a systematic effort to endanger both Gaza’s civilian population and the prisoners held by the resistance.
