Palestinian woman detained at Qalandia checkpoint near Jerusalem
Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces at Qalandia checkpoint, north of Jerusalem, opened fire in the air and detained a Palestinian woman this morning.
Video footages show that the woman posed no plausible danger to anyone around her, but they claimed that she was walking towards the forces on a pathway designated for vehicles only.
After detaining her, the forces closed the checkpoint immediately and interrupted traffic for a while before reopening it.
The woman was among 16 others from various areas of the occupied Palestinian territories who were detained overnight by IOF, according to the PPS.
