Twitter suspends account of CODEPINK’s Co-Director

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- CODEPINK said that Twitter suspended the account of its national co-director, Ariel Gold, on Monday before it recovered it on the same day under pressure made by followers.

CODEPINK slammed censorship on social media and started a petition calling Twitter to stop targeting pro-Palestine content.

Gold’s latest tweets were about the Israeli targeting of protesters in Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health, 41 protesters, including 10 children and one journalist, were sniped by Israeli soldiers on the borders between Gaza and the 1948-occupied territories on Sunday.

Thousands of Gazans protested against the Israeli siege and restrictions and remembering the 52nd anniversary of Al Aqsa mosque arson.

CODEPINK is a women-led grassroots organization working to end US wars and militarism and support peace and human rights initiatives.
