The forces at first were intercepting Asala’s road with her sister Yasar, then they were sexually harassing the sisters.
Asala said that she and her sister were heading to their own home when the forces asked them for their ID, which they gave them.
Asala said the forces started asking her and her sister needless questions, and then started verbally harassing them.
The sisters decided to complain to the officer in charge of them, but the forces in response attacked the girls without justification, pushed them on the ground, and physically assaulted them.
“My arms were bruised due to the beating and use of handcuffs. My arms were bruised and swallowed,” Asala said.
