Israeli forces shot dead 60-year-old Palestinian woman near Bethlehem

Bethlehem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces shot dead an old Palestinian woman yesterday, at a junction outside the illegal settlement bloc of Gush Etzion, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

The 60-year-old Rihab al-Horoub, who was shot and seriously injured by the Israeli forces yesterday after they reportedly opened fire at her, was announced dead today.

Al-Hroub was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in occupied Jerusalem, where she died from her wounds.

The Times of Israel on Monday claimed that she suffered from prior mental illness and had recently attempted suicide.

“She began to feel that everything was going wrong, and suddenly, over the last three months, her mental state deteriorated. We were shocked,” Fahima al-Hroub’s brother Ibrahim said in a phone call, as the newspaper claimed.
