Ramallah (QNN)- Several citizens were wounded during the Israeli repression of Kafr Qaddum’s weekly protest on the first day of 2021.

Local sources said 18 citizens were wounded with rubber-coated metal rounds while dozens were suffocated during the Israeli repression of the weekly protest, which demands to open the road to the village, which has been blocked for 17 years.

Murad Ishtewi, the coordinator for the popular resistance in the village, said dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed the village and climbed onto the roofs of houses before showering the protesters with bullets and tear gas grenades.

18 citizens were wounded while dozens were suffocated, including children and women.
