83 injuries among protesters in Sabih by Israeli forces
Nablus (QNN)- Israeli forces on Friday opened fire at peaceful protesters at Sabih mountain, wounding 83 of them.
The director of the Red Crescent in Nablus, Ahmad Jibril, said that eight protesters got injuries by live bullets. One of them had a medium injury in his chest.
He also said that Israeli forces left 55 suffocation cases, 10 injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets, and 10 injuries from falling down.
Confrontations between residents of Beita and Israeli forces erupted today after Israeli forces banned residents from reaching Sabih mountain.
Israeli authorities had evacuated the illegal settlement of Avitar on Sabih mountain in Beita. However, they prevented Palestinian farmers from reaching the area. The evacuation came due to daily activities by the village’s popular resistance.
