7 Palestinian workers shot and injured by Israeli occupation forces gunfire
Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Seven Palestinian workers were shot and injured this morning by Israeli occupation forces while attempting to go to their workplaces, in the West Bank city of Tulkarem, according to the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry said that seven Palestinians were brought to hospital in Tulkarm with gun wounds to the leg.
Their injuries were reported to be light, but the hospital director said two of the injuries suffer from broken bones and need medical attention.
Local sources said the forces opened fire at the workers near a gate where they gathered in an effort to cross the apartheid wall and reach their workplaces, injuring seven, all said to be in their 20s.
Since 2002, ‘Israel’ has been constructing a wall that stretches for more than 700 kilometres, annexing Palestinian land inside the occupied West Bank. This wall is known as the separation wall or apartheid wall.
