500 residential units partially damaged, 30 completely damaged in recent Israeli escalation on Gaza
Gaza (QNN)- The Ministry of Public Works and Housing said 500 residential units have been partially damaged while 30 others were completely damaged during the two-day recent Israeli escalation on Gaza.
The ministry stated that an initial estimation of losses revealed that the besieged strip lost 2 million dollars in the Israeli strikes, which hit buildings and structures that are mostly civilian.
The Ministry also affirmed its responsibility to alleviate the suffering of our people and those who lost their houses through speeding up the efforts of removal of debris and recovery of bodies.
The ministry called on International bodies to fulfill their roles, providing financial support for those who lost their houses to provide decent houses for them.
