After 4 months of his release, ‘Israel’ re-arrests Palestinian ex-detainee

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces earlier on Sunday re-arrested Palestinian ex-detainee in Israeli jails, Medhat Al Eisawai, after raiding his house in al Eisawiyah neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.

Medhat’s sister said Israeli occupation police raided his house in the early morning hours today before he was taken for interrogation.

48-year-old Medhat Al Eisawai served over 27 years in Israeli prisons.

The last time in which ‘Israel’ arrested him, he served 8 years in jail and was released in July 2021.

On 15 September 2021, Medhat, a father of a girl who was born when he was held in Israeli jails, was arrested again on his birthday, after storming and searching his house.

Medhat’s brother, Samer Al Eisawi, is a detainee, as well, who once started a hunger strike that extended from August 2012 to April 2013, protesting against his illegal administrative detention without a charge or trial by Israeli occupation authorities.
