Extremist Israeli settlers attack Palestinians and properties across occupied West Bank

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Extremist Israeli settlers on Saturday night attacked Palestinians and their houses and vandalized properties throughout the occupied West Bank.

At Ein Ayyoub junction, west of Ramallah, the settlers threw stones at several Palestinian vehicles driving at the junction.

In the village of Ramin, near Tulkarm city, the Israeli settlers attacked and threw stones at a Palestinian house before they were forced out by the residents of the village.

The house sustained moderate damage, and its dwellers were terrified by the attack.

Dozens of Israeli settlers blocked a section of road 60 east of Hebron city and threw stones at the Palestinian vehicles driving at the road.

They also tried to raid a house of a Palestinian citizen near the road.

Last night, an Israeli settler groups called for gathering to carry out lynching attacks on villages in the West Bank city of Nablus.

The Israeli attacks were planned to start at 5:00 pm Jerusalem time, as settlers announced.

On Friday, groups of armed Israeli settlers attacked the villages of Burqa and Qaryout in Nablus and tried to kill and kidnap native Palestinians. They have reportedly burnt 20 houses.

Loudspeakers of the village’s mosques called for help, which helped to save the lives of an elderly man and his wife in Qaryout.

There has been a sharp spike in settler violence against Palestinians and their properties in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The violent acts include beating, throwing stones, issuing threats, torching fields, destroying trees and crops, stealing crops, using live fire, and damaging homes and cars.

There are 280 illegal settlements in the West Bank, which are home to more than 440,000 settlers.

In 2021, there were 135 recorded incidents of stones thrown at Palestinians, up from 90 in 2019, and 250 additional violent incidents, compared to 100 in 2019.
