24 citizens arrested in Israeli night arrest campaign in West Bank

Ramallah (QNN)- The Israeli army on Wednesday carried out a night arrest campaign throughout the occupied West Bank, arresting 24 citizens.
In Ramallah, Israeli forces arrested 13 citizens, while they arrested two former prisoners from Bethlehem, three in Jenin, four in Hebron, and one former prisoner in occupied Jerusalem.
Among the arrested citizens is the human rights activist Khaled Adra as well as former prisoners. Abdel Aziz Damdoum was arrested in Jerusalem although he was only released 80 days ago.
The occupation state carried out daily night arrests in the West Bank and Jerusalem, arresting dozens of citizens including women and children. Amnesty In international stated that “every year, 500-700 Palestinian children from the occupied West Bank are prosecuted in Israeli juvenile military courts under Israeli military orders. They are often arrested in night raids and systematically ill-treated. Some of these children serve their sentences within Israel, in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention. The UN has also documented that many children have been killed or injured in settler attacks”.
