18-year-old Palestinian student killed by Israeli forces in Jenin
Jenin (QNN)- An 18-year-old Palestinian student was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces while he was on his way to school on Monday during a military raid into the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that Mahmoud al-Saadi was shot in the stomach during an Israeli military raid in Jenin, where at least four others were also injured after being shot by Israeli forces.
The ministry said in a statement, “A civilian succumbed to critical wounds after he was shot by Israeli live bullets in the abdomen, in Jenin.”
Local sources reported that Saadi, a secondary student, was on his way to school when he was shot. He was rushed to the intensive care unit at a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Palestinian foreign affairs ministry described the killing as a ” field execution” and a “heinous crime,” adding that it is “part of the daily series of killings against our people, with cover and approval at the Israeli political level.”
Dozens of Israeli armored jeeps raided Jenin and its refugee camp earlier that day, before8 am. The raid lasted about an hour.
In the camp, Israeli forces besieged the home of a wanted Palestinian man, identified as Rateb al-Bali, while his family, including his children, were inside, and targeted the house with bullets and missiles before arresting him. Al-Bali has previously spent a year in Israeli prisons under administrative detention without trial or charge.
