131 schools closed following detection of Coronavirus cases

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- The Palestinian Ministry of Education said that it closed 131 schools throughout Palestine due to the spread of coronavirus among students.

The general director of the ministry’s department of school health, Ihab Shukri, told ‘The Voice of Palestine’ radio that the schools will be temporarily closed in order to be sterilized.

He added that the schools have been closed after detecting new cases of coronavirus among students and teachers.

He also noted that “the situation is still fine and the epidemiological situation is under control.”
