10 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces and settlers in August so far
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Ten Palestinians have been killed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem in August so far, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
At least 210 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip since the start of 2023.
The Health Ministry has identified the ten Palestinian martyrs as:
Mohammad ZaarirWhen: August 1, 2023
Zaarir, 15, was fatally shot by Israeli forces near the illegal Israeli settlement of Shim’a close to Hebron. He was one of the top students in his class and had just finished the 9th grade.
Muhannad Mazar'aWhen: August 1, 2023
Mazar'a, 20, was killed by Israeli forces over allegedly carrying out a shooting operation in the illegal settlement of Maale Adumim. The operation came amid a spike in Israeli attacks against Palestinians.
Mahmoud Abu SaanWhen: August 4, 2023
Abu Saan, 18, was shot by Israeli forces in the head at point blank range and was later pronounced dead at the hospital during a military raid at the Nour Shams refugee camp.
Qusai Mu'tanWhen: August 4, 2023
Mu’tan, 19, was fatally shot in the neck in cold blood by Israeli settlers who attacked the village of Burqa, southeast of Ramallah.

Israeli forces killed the three Palestinians after firing dozens of bullets at a vehicle they were in near Arraba town, southwest of Jenin, before withholding their bodies and the vehicle.
Ramzi Fathi HamedWhen: August 7, 2023
Hamed, 17, was shot on August 4 by an Israeli settler while sitting in a car near the Ofra illegal settlement in Silwad. Hamed was hit with two bullets, in the chest and stomach and died from his wounds in a hospital.
Ameer KhalifaWhen: August 10, 2023
Khalifa, 27, was fatally shot by Israeli forces with two bullets during a military raid into Zawata town, northwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank.
Mahmoud JaradWhen: August 11, 2023
Jarad, 23, was shot in the chest and killed by Israeli forces during a military raid into the Tulkarm camp. The youth was reportedly first admitted to a nearby hospital in critical condition before he was announced dead of his wounds.
Israeli forces have detained and kidnapped more than 23,000 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank and eastern Jerusalem since the start of the Gaza genocide, according to the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, which warns of escalating abuses, mass arrests of women and children, and thousands held under enforced disappearance.

The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has submitted a formal denunciation to Sri Lankan authorities against an Israeli-American soldier over his “involvement in war crimes” in the Gaza Strip, including the “unlawful destruction” of civilian infrastructure. It is the first such case filed against an American citizen outside the US.
