Jerusalem Center: 381 arrests including 32 children in April only

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- New statistical study revealed that “Israel” arrested 381 Palestinians, 32 of whom are children and two are women, in arrest campaigns throughout the occupied West Bank in last April only.

The study, which was prepared by the Jerusalem Center for Studies of Israeli and Palestinian Affairs, revealed that most arrests took place in occupied Jerusalem during last April. 70 Palestinians were arrested in the occupied holy city, which could be understood as a part of the Israeli policy to expel Jerusalemites.

“Israel” arrested 76 Palestinians in Ramallah and Hebron cities, 37 in Bethlehem, 33 in Jenin, 21 in Nablus, 16 in Tulkarem, 15 in Qalqilyah, 9 in Salfit, two in Jericho, and one in the northern Jordan Valley.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers on the Gaza borders arrested ten Palestinians from Gaza, claiming that they infiltrated the borders.

researchers of the Center believe that arrests have become an Israeli aim not only a method.

The Center also revealed that Israel arrested 32 Palestinian children throughout the occupied West Bank in last April only.

Most children were arrested in Jerusalem, as 12 children were arrested in the occupied city. 7 children were arrested in Ramallah, 6 in Hebron, 3 in each Jenin and Bethlehem, and one child in Qalqilya.

In the same context, Israel arrested two women and one representative in the Palestinian legislative council. One prisoner passed away as well in an Israeli jail.
