Israel launches arrest campaign against Palestinian women

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces started on Monday an arrest campaign against Palestinian women throughout the occupied West Bank.

In Hebron, a 17-year-old young lady called Rawan Abu Sneineh was arrested at a military checkpoint in occupied Hebron and taken to an unknown destination under the pretext of seizing a knife.

Another Palestinian young lady recognized as Shorouq Al Badan (25 years old) was arrested earlier on Monday from her house in Taqqua’ in Bethlehem.

The arrest campaign against Palestinian women has started a few days ago under claims of participating in anti occupation activities. Meanwhile, activists confirm that the arrests aim at putting pressure on members of the arrested women’s families to turn themselves in.

  1. It used to be the children, now it’s the women. Can you see the logic? If they get the women, there will be less children.
